Obviously, we'll never see the equivalent of a 60% rate increase as our elected officials gave themselves last year. I'm interested in an analysis of cumulative wage increases SU has received over the period of time from 2011-2024 because this is the time frame considered for the 20% raises received by Gov, Lt Gov and dept heads. Is it possible to make a comparison between the cumulative increases SU received and department heads have received in that period? http://www.doa.alaska.gov/dop/socc See the discussion in link. Department heads were given a 20% pay increase because it was deemed their wage increases hadn't kept up w "2% per year cost of inflation". I recognize our pay rates have been compared to the feds- good info but moot under this administration. Let's compare apples to apples.
