The State's Wage supposal: you get 5% and a step increase (but lose the F Step) year 1, 1.25% year 2, then their CPI Formula, likely 1.25% or 2.5%, year 3

  • That's enough for me.

  • No, not a chance.

For further explanation, we already have one less merit step than GGU. We proposed to have two added; they are proposing to take one away, further ensuring that GGU staff get pay increases faster. The state feels that this is a reasonable proposal, as it is more wage increases than SU has ever had in a contract. An update will come out later, and a poll will go out via email as well.

(A supposal is less binding than a proposal, just negotiations splitting hairs)
